The secret to having smooth silky feet is moisturizer and scrubbing. The dead skin cells are the ones to blame for rough feet. That is why it is important to scrub and exfoliate them. You can do that using professional products or by using products more unconventional around the house such as palenta flour or coffee grounds. You can also use sand if you can get your hands on it anytime.

To help you get the dead skin off more easily you can soak your feet in a basin with warm water and baking soda, sea salt and olive oil.

Add in some essential oils, and you get yourself quality pampering, relaxing time. Just choose the scent you like, such as lavender or rose.

You can also use almond oil or coconut milk to keep your feet hydrated. Other moisturizing products include Shea butter or coconut butter.

You can also try wrapping them in plastic foil after applying the moisturizer of your choice. It helps the skin to really soak in the moisturizer.

You can also ty aloe. if you have any skin lacerations on your feet, it will help with healing and with also hydrate them. You can buy aloe lotion or you can get it directly from the plant if you happen to have one in your house. Get one leaf, use a knife to cut it open and scrape out the gel and apply it on your feet. Leave it to act for a few minutes and wipe with a damp towel.

Here’s one way to make a feet scrub: mix a tablespoon of baking soda with water, just as much needed to get a smooth paste, add coffee grounds to it or palenta flour and use it to scrub your feet. Apply moisturizer after.
